Located in the lofty Blue Mountains, the altitude, mineral-rich soil, gentle cloud cover, and ample sunlight provides the perfect conditions for the coffee’s rich flavour and signature character. As the largest producer in Jamaica, Mavis Bank Coffee Factory produces coffee under the Jablum label. During a 45-minute tour of the facilities visitors get a peak into the from bush to mug production stages. The process include the drying, aging, cleaning, and roasting of the coffee over an average 6-month period before it gets to your mug. A guide with valuable experience and insight into each phase will lead the informative tour. After the tour, you can enjoy a complimentary cup and purchase roasted or ground beans at a good price.
