Frenchman’s Cove just east of Drapers, Port Antonio is a beautiful cove with several villas and a relatively small beach. The small but amazing beach is fed by a freshwater river that meets the ocean. This gives the option to either swim in the very calm river or the ocean. The alluring Frenchman’s Cove is rarely crowded so a relaxing day enjoying the soft white sand and crystal clear water is highly likely. To add, the surrounding jungle environs makes the perfect backdrop for photos. There’s an abundance of beach chairs to relax or hang out on the swing by the river. Food and drinks are available as well as bathrooms, a secure parking lot, and the option to sail out to Blue Lagoon.
