All Inclusive Hotels In Jamaica You Should Try

Christmas might be the most wonderful time of the year, but vacations are a god-send. Where better to spend your time off than in a top of the line all-inclusive in tropical paradise Jamaica. Imagine waking up for two weeks to flawless beaches, lush mountainsides, and personalized attention at your fingertips. But as many of you know, there are many all-inclusive options and not all are created equal. So in no particular order, here’s why these Jamaican all-inclusive hotels stand out.

Royalton Negril

You’d be hard-pressed to find the hustle and bustle in Negril. The fiery sunset alone is enough to reset your mood, and a few days at this Royalton will help as well. Sitting just east of Negril’s famous Seven Mile Beach and curling around the bay, you’ll get both a cove and direct beach access. The peaceful cliffs stretching to the West of the hotel is ground zero for some of the best snorkeling and, of course, the beautiful white sands for evening strolls.

Relax in one of their ocean-view suites and enjoy a host of other water-based activities. This resort is an excellent option for couples and families alike as they have a complimentary Kid’s Club, and couples looking for the adults-only experience can stay at the hideaway section. Royalton is a beautiful all-inclusive with options for everyone.

Excellence Oyster Bay

This adults-only resort just West of Montego Bay makes this list because they tick multiple boxes on the vacation list. Excellence Oyster Bay brings the romance and relaxation while still having plenty of entertainment options. Amp up the romance with private plunge pool sunsets, relax and set sail on the evening Luminous Lagoon boat rides or skip that and beeline to the evening theatre shows.

Even the 2-mile peninsula location that you guessed it, overlooks the Caribbean Sea is ridiculously romantic. It brings a sense of seclusion that maybe only a private island can. In the midst of all that you can add convenient to the list being only 40-minute away from the busy airport freeway. The rooms are alluring and spacious with at least partial views of the ocean. They are blend of minimalist modern and warm wood tones, some with their own pools.

When it comes time to eat, the name of this resort shines through. From Asian fusion fare to steak to additional perks of exclusive restaurants, dining is way above average. And just because they can, the Excellence Club package is an extra perk that include private reception, a private beach, and spa treatments. But even without the package their full spa menu as well as excellent wellness facilities are open to all guests.

Sandals Royal Plantation

Considered the best of the Sandals chain, Sandals Royal Plantation are champions of luxury and intimacy. It’s clear even before setting foot into the oversized suites that come with butler service. The bold, elegant aesthetic starts a trial from the oversized Mediterranean statues, checkered marble floor, and ornate wooden furniture in the lobby to the only champagne and caviar bar in Jamaica.

With only 74 ocean view suites, Royal Plantation curates an intimate vibe and an even better private beach experience. It stays quiet and private here so honeymooners and couples will love the relaxed, sophisticated atmosphere. They’ll also love that this resort takes the all-inclusive tag seriously.

Get ready for unlimited al la carte dining and premium liquors, unlimited scuba diving, Robert Mondavi wines, and one of the best coffee in the world, Blue Mountain coffee. For a low-key escape, excellent service, and bold luxuries, Sandals Royal Plantation is an all-inclusive that does not disappoint.

Couples Tower Isle

Just tied the knot? Want to treat the love of your life? Couples Tower Isle is an impressive couples-only all-inclusive that ups the ante on romantic escapes. Even if you’re not a fan of all-inclusive hotels, this resort might change your mind. In terms of sophistication, they are on par with the Royal Plantations of Jamaica and have been for a long time. Dating back to the 50s, Tower Isle has been a go-to for the A-list stars. Now, couples can bask in the same exclusivity and style.

Expect clean, pastel tone rooms, top-shelf liquors, glass bottom boat rides, golf green fees, and honeymoon packages. The packages include spa treatments and Tower Isle’s spa and wellness centre can easily be the best in the island. Think art-deco meets feng shui with a Buddha plunge pool at the centre.

Next to this oasis are the Oasis Spa Villas. These luxury, stand-alone villas are a dream with private plunge pools, fountains, a contemporary all-white palette with pops of beach colours, and of course, unlimited spa services. The dining experience gives them extra brownie points. They are known for many things and their excellent dining options is one of them.

The restaurants are exquisite and modern, and the food delicious with heavy servings of romance. Sprinkle on a private au naturel island, heat at 31 degrees and Couples Tower Isle is the final result. This resort is an excellent choice for a romantic all-inclusive rendezvous.

Iberostar Grand Rose Hall

Iberostar Grand Rose Hall is in the upper-echelon of all-inclusive resorts. This resort is a part of a trio but the most luxurious of the three. The adults-only, 295 room property is one of the best beachfront getaways that money can buy. Of the three, they exceed in food, décor, and luxury amenities. The difference begins where most upscale properties distinguish themselves – the reception area.

Upon the entering the lobby, you’re immediately arrested by the cathedral-style design covered with Greek mythological and modernists paintings. Grand Gregorian columns, metallic gold accents, and checkered marble floors complete the opulent renaissance feel. The suites are no less posh.

Touches of leather, marble, silk, and wooden furnishings accentuate the large marble bathrooms and deep whirlpool tubs. From pillow menus to butler service, luxury amenities is the standard here. Make your way to the multi-level pool at the centre of the property. It’s huge! Many vacations are made or broken because of a less than desirable place to sunbathe or splash around. It all boils down to the beach or pool.

At Iberostar, it’s the pool. The size is great but the footbridge, swim up bar, volleyball net, and shaded chic padded lounge chairs elevates it. Don’t come here for night life, but instead to relax and be pampered. All the extra comforts and luxury amenities is worth it.

Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall

Hyatt Zilara is a adult-only property that’s unlike many all-inclusive hotels you’ve stayed in. The open-air lobby, teak furniture, contemporary wall art, and muted palette paired with bright patterns and soft coral accents exude luxury. Everything is first class, and the rooms are exceptional. The modern decor is replicated in the upmarket rooms with dark woods, beige walls and floors, and contemporary pieces.

It’s even better if you upgrade to a swim-up suite with semi-private pools or direct beach access. The oceanfront is perfection and makes for a beautiful afternoon stroll over to sister property Hyatt Ziva where you’ll also have access to their amenities. The swim-up bar comes alive in the evenings, so reserve your spot, or you can always drop by the Zen spa for something more, well, Zen.

This smaller, open-air alternative to spas at other resorts curates a boutique feel with no compromise on elegance. Just a few steps from the water, the wooden cathedral ceiling, hot tub, and upscale wood lounge chairs tells you it’s time to relax. Hyatt Zilara is all the first-class treatment, relaxation, and romance you pay for.

Moon Palace Jamaica

The sheer size of this resort makes them a serious contender on this list. But it’s not just size. Moon Palace comes with extravagance, a fresh décor, and a grocery list of features. The impressive marble interiors and the whooping 705 modern, sleek, designed rooms makes it feel like a miniature MGM Grand. In true Vegas style, it’s all about the grandeur. Step into a vortex of giant copper walls, marble interior, sapphire blue pools, and ritzy facilities.

The coastal inspired rooms come with the sleek, minimalism contrasting the extravagance of the rest of the resort. And they even throw in a complimentary welcome bottle of wine as a nice touch. The features are extensive and reflect Moon’s top-tier status. They unfold with swim up bars, hot tubs, lofty palm trees, 23 spa treatment rooms, and extensive entertainment options for both adults and kids.

The colourful water sport toys and Flow Rider Surf machine are on standby for the latter and plenty of dining, drinking, and late night settings for the former. From the chandeliered pool room to the VIP-esque velvet ropes in the lobby, Moon Palace spare no expense for the ultimate all-inclusive experience and it’s evident throughout.

Secrets Wild Orchid

This resort is arguable one of the most decorated on this list, but we’ll let this AAA 4 Diamond award-winning resort do the talking. Secrets Wild Orchid also sits on a specular panoramic peninsula that feels like stepping into a travel magazine. Everything here is exclusive and a part of an unlimited luxury experience. Couples will love the candlelit dinners overlooking the ocean, fantastic food and drinks, in-suite whirlpool tubs, 24-hour personalized services, and for some, the swim-up semi-private pool.

Then again, everyone would. And what’s better than one luxury resort? Three of them. Staying here also gives you access to companion properties, Secrets St. James and Breathless resort, which is like a 3 in 1 deal. The best part is you can take your small four-legged furry friend (dog) with you. Not many other all-inclusive allow that, but there are guidelines so ensure you check with the hotel before arrival.

Jewel Grande Montego Bay Resort & Spa

Jewel Grande is a family-friendly all-inclusive that goes above and beyond. Don’t get me wrong, the other hotels do their very best, but there’s something about this resort that stands out. It may be the colonial-style interior, the unique mineral pool and Himalayan salt lounge, the wonderful staff, or all three. Whichever way, the resort is beautiful and the pictures online are accurate.

From check-in to check out, you can tell that they love serving from the heart, and on top of that, they’ve got everything you could need. The food and drinks are fantastic, especially from Hibachi. They make it dinner and a show. At breakfast, try the omelet from Geldean and have it outside while watching the sunrise.

The beach is beautiful and kept clean, and if you’re in one of their spacious ocean view room, falling asleep to the gentle ebb of the waves is heavenly. There are tons of activities and entertainment to get into as well, and the staff (who know their guests by name) are delighted to engage you, or if you wish, you can relax on the beach with fresh coconut water, and people watch.

Beaches, Negril

The last resort on this list takes you to the casual capital of Jamaica. Beaches Negril, also designed for families, invites the household to their beautiful beachfront property. Tucked away from the line of other resorts, Beaches occupy the widest stretch of the extraordinary Seven Mile beach. The resort has a fun, friendly atmosphere with a wide variety of activities, entertainment, classes, and events that everyone can enjoy.

Kids get to duel at the Pirate-Themed Waterpark and partake in the Sesame Street Carnival Parade. They even get to have breakfast with their favourite Sesame Street character, which is wildly popular with kids and adults. The children who aren’t quite adults yet get their own hangout spot and teen club.

While the kids are off being busy and entertained, adults can enjoy a cocktail or two from the swim up bar or a candlelight dinner for two. The best thing about most of the resort’s amenities is they are modified to suit the age group, even the restaurants. The rooms and suites blends contemporary with old-colonial style in its décor, some with unobscured ocean views.

Pathways meander through the contemporary buildings expose manicured lawns with giant chess boards and hammocks. Beaches Negril decided they would impress not just adults but the entire family and succeeded.
