Tuff Gong Recording Studio is one of the Caribbean’s largest and influential live recording spaces. The studio is ground zero for some of Bob Marley’s iconic work including Redemption Song and One Love. Founded by Bob Marley the studio is run by his son, Ziggy. Visitors to the studio will be treated to a 60-minute “Making of the Music” tour. It is a behind the scenes look at the recording, rehearsal, and production process. You’ll learn about the state-of-art studio and how records are pressed. Along the way there are walls of photos and the ‘Ride Natty Ride” tour truck. The tour is a leisurely walk and very accessible but comfortable shoes is recommended.
Vinyl records and CDs are must have gift items after the reggae making session. A combined tour of Tuff Gong Recording Studio and the Bob Marley Museum on the same day is also possible.
