The pilgrimage through Skyline Drive to Jack’s Hill overlooking the city lights takes you to the home of Dub Club. Patrons are treated to a rocking jam session every Sunday from the wall of speakers blaring the highest in roots, rockers, reggae, and dub. Dub Club is a hillside home that transforms into a culture yard. In the midst, vendors are selling books and craft items. The laid-back atmosphere is an ode to authentic reggae sessions and the young hipsters, old school Rastas, and reggae enthusiasts that make up the diverse crowd respond with positive vibes.
The Club is a popular meet up spot for many popular reggae artists and DJs who will either showcase their talents or just hold a vibes and interact with friends and fans. The spacious deck bar in the back supplies an endless flow of drinks while resident or guest DJs supply the memorizing sounds of dub. I-tal food is also on sale. Doors open at 8 pm but really get going after 10 pm into the wee hours.
